I’d been up later celebrating at the marriage, slept through my security, and scarcely made my journey to Puerto Rico. After deplaning and bumbling my method through the cruise check-in, we crashed during my quarters for the two-hour hangover nap. Once I woke to your gorgeous sight of water and sun outside my own patio, we felt just a little sad and just a little lonely. We wished i possibly could have scooped up the wedding that is entire and taken all of them with me personally to San Juan.
Thankfully, however, I Experienced Dana.
It was Dana’s very very first Olivia cruise too, though she’d been doing work for a little while once the company’s content strategist. The employees thought that since she and I also had comparable backgrounds, it could sound right for Dana to simply take me personally under her wing this journey. She’s a pink-haired ball of zany power who, as soon as we turned up in the dock in San Juan, made me feel like I became where we belonged. And now we had plenty to share, it used to be good (nowadays it’s an anti-trans pile of garbage) since she’s an LGBT media person too — the managing editor of Bella Media, a ClexaCon moderator, lesbian romance author, and a veteran editor and writer of the site AfterEllen, from back when.
Whenever we boarded, Dana introduced me personally to the adorable boomer-millennial set responsible for Olivia’s Solos Program, which suits ladies (solitary or partnered) who opt to carry on trips alone. Continue reading My day that is first on cruise, Saturday, I became hungover and exhausted.
