Parking at MGM Characteristics in Las Vegas Raised Once More

MGM Properties is going to strip more cash away from tourists when they visit their resorts on the famed Las Vegas Boulevard. Some will surge as much as 39 percent.

MGM Properties announced they are raising parking rates at their 12 resorts on the Las Vegas Strip.

The business announced Tuesday that the 12 properties would increase valet and self-parking rates beginning April 12. The news headlines came less than a year from if the company instituted the controversial decision to charge for parking.

‘we have been adjusting the parking rates for a variety of business-related reasons,’ MGM spokeswoman Yvette Monet said in a statement. ‘ These modifications derive from market analyses we have actually carried out since we implemented the program.’

Rate Structure

The biggest jump ended up being Vdara Resort, which offers only valet service. The rates went from $13 to $20 for initial four hours, and from $18 to $25 between four and 24 hours.
